This dedication extends to pioneering new ingredients and investing in kind-to-planet solutions, such as home-compostable mycelium packaging.
We take pride in setting a higher standard, excluding twice as many ingredients as the European Union average.
Our list of exclusions extends far beyond just parabens, synthetic fragrances, and preservatives.

Every Oio Lab product undergoes rigorous consumer in-use tests to confirm they perform as claimed, as well as instrumental tests that use scientific equipment to precisely measure effectiveness.

Kind to planet solutions
Nature is not just our inspiration, we actively take steps to participate
in its protection.
In partnership with local organisations from Poland, we are committed to planting forests and safeguarding marine ecology.
For example, every purchase of our Calming Emulsion THE FOREST RETREAT contributes to the planting of 1 square meter of biodiverse forest.
Additionally, 2% from each purchase supports the DIRT Charity, which is focused on soil regeneration and was founded by top model and environmental activist Arizona Muse.
Oio Lab believes that beauty products should be cruelty free.
We are proud to be Leaping Bunny approved.
A global programme, Leaping Bunny requires cruelty free standards over and above legal requirements.
All of our own brand cosmetic and personal care products are approved under the Cruelty Free International Leaping Bunny programme, the internationally recognisable gold standard for cruelty free products.
We adhere to a fixed cut-off date policy and proactively
monitor our suppliers to ensure that our products continue to adhere to the Leaping Bunny criteria.
Our supplier monitoring system is also independently audited.

Oio Lab skincare also holds a PETA certification, confirming that it is vegan and cruelty-free.

We are committed to reducing our plastic use by choosing FSC-certified paper packaging and patented biophotonic violet glass bottles, which protect and preserve the vitality of our precious ingredients.

OUR STORY
Oio Lab, is a polish botanical skincare brand utilising natural extracts and advanced technology to create products that achieve clinically proven, measurable results for your skin.
When we started, we wanted to create something truly unique that would allow for maximum results whilst being kind to our planet.
So, after months of testing, mixing and revising ingredients and components, our first product was released in 2018.
For us it’s not just about ticking boxes.
It’s about putting the right active ingredients together for maximum results because skincare should be effective.
Today, Oio Lab products are created in an in-house laboratory that guarantees full transparency of the production process.
We also partner with Medical Universities, independent laboratories and manufacturers who enable us to work on unique ingredients and store our products in packaging that is functional and kind to our planet.
